The hair straightener is for what? My hair. That's right. Don't get it near my actual face. Can I do that?
I look like I have a permanent pillow wrinkle on the side of my face. From my past experience, it will probably stay with me for at least a few days, possibly a week.
Put another tally mark under "Emily messups" for the week.

It happens, put some aloe on it or something. That should help it heal faster. I do things like that often, like stabbing myself in the hand when I can clearly see it in the way. Or putting my face over a pan with hot oil in it (yes I actually did that and yes I got oil splashed right in my face and eyes), as well as sticking my hand on some exposed wires and getting electrocuted.
Thanks for the tip. It's nice to know I'm not the only out there with problems!
It must have not been too bad because I didn't notice it when you came over. :)
Leave it to me to make a big deal out of nothing.
"Ohmygoodness I just about lost my finger! Wait, it's just a paper cut."
Eh - you live in Indiana - you have to make life seem interesting somehow
