Though I agree with Emily... I don't think that there is just one person out there that you're "meant" to be with. There are likely a number of people who would be a good fit for you... your life will be different depending on which of those people you end up with, but probably not necessarily "better" or "worse." I think the "one person" theory is actually pretty depressing for single people, because if it were true, you'd have to worry about "missing" the one person you're supposed to be with, and then what... you'd be doomed to be unfulfilled relationship-wise for the rest of you life? eek.
I want to be like a tree. I want my life to be deeply rooted in a relationship with God and in His Truth. I want to let the Holy Spirit's breeze move my branches. Right now I am just a little tree, but I hope to grow. This is my education.

I only brought up the point because there are people who teach it. But I disagree with it. Pauline said it well.
